Mr. Blackwell has been involved with engineering, business development, and marketing of 2Point products and services since 1995.  Mr. Blackwell is the product visionary and helps drive the direction of product development to meet the expected needs of current and future customers.  Mr. Blackwell has more than 15 years experience in the software and hardware communication field.  Prior to 2Point, he held roles as Vice President, General Manager, and Technical Analyst of the ACCPAC Messaging Division (subsidiary of Computer Associates).  At ACCPAC, Mr. Blackwell focused his efforts on building a new generation of communication products.  Prior to ACCPAC, Mr. Blackwell served as Divisional Vice President for Computer Associates working on technical and business projects on behalf of the Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Blackwell came to Computer Associates through an acquisition of Cheyenne Software where he focused on managing enterprise fax and voice communication products with an emphasis in technical marketing.  Mr. Blackwell garnered important expertise in software based communication solutions from Delrina (acquired by Symantec) where he was responsible for developing technical relationships with OEM/ODM modem manufacturers and suppliers through the licensing and distribution of the famous consumer fax solutions, WinFax. Mr. Blackwell managed domestic and international support services at Everex Computer Systems, the first company to develop a standards-based Class 2 fax device.

Mr. Blackwell participates in public speaking engagements and on occasion, as a contributing writer for periodicals around the world.   Most recently he authored an article on how advanced communications can overcome the threat of world cyber terrorism fears.
